Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 slices turkey bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.
  3. Melt butter in a large cast-iron skillet over medium heat and then pour in the batter.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until the edges are golden and puffed.
  5. While the pancakes are baking, cook the turkey bacon in another skillet until crispy.
  6. Remove the pancakes from the oven and slice into wedges.
  7. Serve with crispy turkey bacon on the side.

Notes
