- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 cups egg noodles
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onions and garlic, cooking until soft.
- Add the ground beef, cooking until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and stir in sour cream, cooking until heated through.
- Meanwhile, cook egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain.
- Serve beef mixture over egg noodles.
Notes
- For a bit of heat, add a dash of hot sauce.
- This dish can be made in advance and reheated for easy dinners.
