A fresh and flavorful grilled balsamic steak salad featuring creamy gorgonzola and sweet corn.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup corn kernels, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak in balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached.
  4. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. In a large bowl, combine salad greens, cherry tomatoes, corn, and gorgonzola cheese.
  6. Slice the grilled steak thinly against the grain and place on top of the salad.
  7. Drizzle with extra balsamic vinegar if desired and serve immediately.
