A rich and creamy corn chowder with a spicy kick, featuring turkey bacon and chicken ham.
Ingredients

- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 jalapeños, seeded and chopped
- 4 cups corn kernels
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same pot, sauté the onion and jalapeños until soft.
- Add the corn, chicken broth, heavy cream, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the diced chicken ham and let cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with crumbled turkey bacon.
Notes
- This chowder can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a spicier version, leave some seeds in the jalapeños.
