- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract and sour cream.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- In a small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Fill each cupcake liner halfway with batter, sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture, then top with more batter until full.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.

- For a cream cheese frosting, beat together softened cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
