- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until creamy.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth.
- Roll a tablespoon of cookie dough, flatten it, place a teaspoon of cheesecake filling in the center, and wrap the dough around it.
- Place on baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- For an extra touch, sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes if it’s too sticky to handle.
