- 4 cups zucchini, sliced
- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground meat over medium heat until browned; drain any excess fat.
- Add the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the meat and stir to combine.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the zucchini slices, followed by half of the meat mixture.
- Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining zucchini on top.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
