Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, oil, egg whites, and vanilla.
- Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Pour the batter into greased cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Allow to cool fully before frosting.
