Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract, crushed pineapple, pecans, and coconut until well combined.
