Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground turkey, chopped turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs and place them in the slow cooker.
  3. In another bowl, mix the beef broth, mushrooms, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooked, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry. Stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
