- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 cups dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
Instructions
- In a saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
- In another pan, melt sugar over medium heat until it turns golden brown.
- Remove from heat and add butter and sea salt to the caramel.
- Combine the caramel with the warm cream and stir until smooth.
- Let the mixture cool and refrigerate until firm.
- Once firm, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls.
- Coat the truffles in melted dark chocolate and then roll in cocoa powder.
- Allow to set before serving.
