Description
Mini chocolate cakes filled with marshmallow and coated in rich chocolate are the perfect treat for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup marshmallow fluff
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
- In a large bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk.
- Fill the cupcake liners halfway with the batter.
- Add a spoonful of marshmallow fluff on top of the batter in each liner, then cover with more batter.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cakes cool fully before dipping in chocolate.
- For the chocolate coating, melt chocolate chips in a double boiler and dip the top of each cooled cake.
Notes
- These cakes can be garnished with sprinkles or extra marshmallow fluff if desired.
- Experiment with flavored extracts for a twist on the classic recipe.
