- 6 slices turkey bacon
- 1 loaf day-old bread, cut into cubes
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble.
- In a large bowl, combine bread cubes, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, salt, and pepper together.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread mixture and stir until well combined.
- Transfer to a greased baking dish and sprinkle with parsley.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
