Description
A delicious and hearty Crockpot Pierogi Casserole featuring kielbasa for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 1 pound kielbasa, sliced
- 24 ounces frozen pierogies
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Layer half of the sauerkraut in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the kielbasa on top of the sauerkraut.
- Layer half of the frozen pierogies over the kielbasa.
- Spread half of the sour cream over the pierogies.
- Sprinkle with half of the diced onions and half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the pierogies are tender.
- Serve hot with additional sour cream if desired.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add some fresh herbs on top before serving.
- This dish can also be made with other protein options.
