- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup bourbon
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Place the chicken thighs in the crock pot.
- In a separate bowl, mix together the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and olive oil.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- Once cooked, remove chicken and set aside. Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the sauce in the crock pot to thicken.
- Return the chicken to the pot, stir to coat in the sauce, and serve.

- Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of brown sugar.
