Ingredients

- 1 pound fresh crab meat
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
- Add seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in shrimp and cook until pink.
- Add crab meat, thyme, and cayenne pepper, stir to combine.
- Pour in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper to taste. Simmer for 5 minutes.
