- 2 cups cooked orzo
- 1 pound boneless chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup carrots, chopped
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1 cup peas
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add diced onion, carrots, and celery, and sauté until softened.
- Add diced chicken and cook until no longer pink.
- Stir in garlic powder, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add the cooked orzo and peas, then stir in the heavy cream.
- Simmer for 5-10 minutes until heated through.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
