Description

Cowboy Mushrooms are a delicious and easy appetizer featuring savory turkey bacon and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 12 large mushrooms
  • 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and set the caps aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the turkey bacon, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and parsley until well combined.
  4. Stuff each mushroom cap with the mixture.
  5. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes until golden and bubbling.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sprinkle some breadcrumbs on top before baking.
