- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and arrange the Saltine crackers in a single layer.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring until it comes to a boil.
- Pour the butter mixture over the crackers and spread evenly.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes, until bubbly.
- Remove from oven, and sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
- Let the chocolate chips sit for a minute, then spread the melted chocolate evenly over the top.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and granulated sugar, then sprinkle over the chocolate.
- Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
Notes
- For an extra crunch, you can add chopped nuts to the chocolate layer.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to a week.
