Enjoy a refreshing and easy-to-make Blueberry Iced Tea that’s perfect for hot summer days!
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- 4 cups water
- 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
- 1/2 cup sugar (or to taste)
- 1 lemon, sliced
- ice for serving
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the blueberries and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 10 minutes until the blueberries burst.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solid bits.
- In a separate pot, boil the remaining 3 cups of water and steep the tea bags for 5 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in the blueberry syrup and sugar until dissolved.
- Add lemon slices and chill the tea in the refrigerator.
- Serve over ice and garnish with extra blueberries and lemon slices if desired.
Notes
- For a less sweet version, reduce the sugar or use a sugar substitute.
- Feel free to add mint leaves for additional flavor.
