- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fill the donut pan about halfway with the batter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow donuts to cool slightly before removing from the pan.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and maple syrup until smooth and drizzle over the cooled donuts.

- Feel free to add a pinch of cloves for extra spice.
