- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla to the butter mixture and beat well.
- Mix in the dry ingredients, alternating with apple cider.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Let cool, then fill with caramel sauce.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add more cinnamon.
