  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
  2. In a saucepan, boil the apple cider until reduced to about 1/2 cup.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the reduced apple cider.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  8. Bake for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
