Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Season the pork shoulder with salt and pepper, then sear until browned on all sides.
- Add onion and garlic, cook until softened.
- Pour in apple cider and add thyme.
- Cover and transfer to the oven, braising for 3-4 hours or until tender.
